Dogs holiday !!

Our 2 family dogs 1 male ,1 female were supposed to stay at a local kennels there was a notice there saying NO unsterilised males nothing on females well our little Matilda a puppy abt 8 mths went into season the week she was going on her hols so I dropped them off at 9.30 am at 1.30 pm same day we get a phone call saying liitle Matilda couldnt stay there now our Taxi was due in 30 mins panic stations well we found a kennels to take the 2 dogs so had to get the taxi to go get the dogs from one place then go to the next kennels we arrived at the airport as the people were boarding if it wernt for the second kennels we would have missed our plane for sure wonder what would have happened if Matilda came in season while we were in UK wont be going back there in a hurry - last November we went to Bali while there our little dog Tasha died while there on her hols now that wasnt there fault I am sure but hey dont think we will be sending our little dogs there in a hurry

Good grief - are you meant to be psychic!! In a situation like this, couldn't the kennels have upped the bill by £20 and sprayed her with anti-mate - it hides the 'in season' smell!!


Actually, if all males are meant to be neutered - Matilda being in season wouldn't have made any difference to them!!!

Yes we had the best holiday there in UK my grandkids loved it we want to come back next year and we WONT be sending little Charlie an Matilda to Pampered Pooch in WA thats for sure
