St. Ashley,
Ralph Ashley d.1606, martyr. An Englishman, he served as cook at Douai College, went to Valladolid, Spain in 1590, became a Jesuit laybrother and returned to England in 1598. He served and was scaptured in 1604 with Fr. Edward Oldcorne. He was frightfully tortured during two years of imprisonment in the Tower of London then was executed at Worchester on Apr. 7. He was beatified in 1929.

St. Stephen, the first Christian martyr.
He is the patron saint of deacons, headaches, horses and masons.

These are all my son's names, i've been told that there is a St Ashley but not sure if that is true, (I know he should be St xof courageous deeds).

I think that it is St Anthony for lost things (next time you can't find something pray to Saint Anthony)

St Jude for lost causes, when everyone seems to have given up hope, pray to Saint Jude.

St Anthony the patron saint of lost causes ( at least Mum used to say he was the patron saint of lost causes but just noticed the previuos message)

Always prayed to St Anthony with mum as a child when she was looking for any money which may have gone down the sides of the settee, usually on a Thursday as she would be relying on being given her weekly allowance when dad was paid on Friday lunch time

has anyone done a list of saints,there must be umpteen,out there,
i know us humans are disguised as saints sometimes when we have to put up with stuff we dont want/like,lol.
so here goes with the first.
St.Anthony--the finder of lost items.
St.Columbus.--for those at sea.
St.Cecilia--for singers
i may have got some of these wrong ,so feel free to correct me
