What age? and appearance...just thinking if they may be looking for food or 'salvage'?

BUT make sure you don't put any paperwork in there unshredded...utility bills and the like can be used for ID theft.

they COULD be council snoopers looking to see if you have put anything or wrong stuff in the bin so they can summons you.......

After we had moved into a new home we had a situation where our rubbish bags were disappearing over night. One night I caught the chap doing the taking and it turned out he was from a debt colection company that was trying to trace the previous occupants. I had no doubt of the truthfulness of his story as it coincided with a number of phone calls for the previous owner and letters I had returned to sender.

same as merlin lol,even if they looked like a vagrant, becasue if u feed them they may come back time n time again, im all for helping others but not from my home incase it encouraged them, xxx

I'd be amazed if they could get to my bins. I have an electric gate, quite high so they'd have to climb over (guess they could if really keen) and my Rottie is often out there patrolling his territory like he does so they'd have to be very brave or down right daft!!
