Muffy...two gas masks £ 10 lol I didn't buy ;)

But I did buy two pictures, a US silver dollar on a chain and some books....

I like my print, though I am not sure why, even the auctioneer thought the subject was 'horrible' ( i think that discouraged other bidders lol :))

It is called 'The Accused' and shows a young woman with torn clothes looking despairing, with a baby on one arm...in the smokey, dark background which has a hint of fire nearby ( hell fire?) there are two mens faces.... it rather reminds me of the poverty of my ancestors and perhaps the social stigma some of them faced as single mothers... I wonder what the artist had in his mind?

Yeah I did the same a few years back.

Shoved in the back of my garage I now have...A WW2 gas mask, a mirror that I don't even like that much and a remote controlled plane that never worked lol x

just got the catalogue and 434 lots to choose from :)) All sorts from jewellery to furniture... I'm going to have to sit on my hands...but you never know there might be a 'bargain' :)
