This is my first time using this and am not sure if i am doing it right. I am sure someone will put me straight if I am not! I want to know what "Die x Dict." means in the parish records. I have several ancestors with this against their name. Cannot find it anywhere but it keeps popping up. Also chrysnomer - it is something to do with a baptimisal cloth/shroud. More specifics would be helpful. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance. Hedgerow. |
