From myself, or that is what the e-mail said. I thought, i'll check and see what I have to say, and found it was from a member replying to something I said. Now how did GR make that mistake!!

Hi Jean, i have two p.ms but when i click into them it says that the person wants to see my tree,and when i click back out of them the envelope is still closed.
I don,t know how i can read them because they are about certs that the person is looking for.

That is the wording used by the powers that be now :-)

there was one on mine like that last night
i had to go into the bit where it says you have message from um
scroll down a bit
click on the bit underneath where it says thier name,
if that makes sense

thats how i read their message to me, it was bit complicated, and not like before

Got them by logging out each yime and going into my mailing site, they were also addressed from me. lol.

Jean, I contacted gr about this earlier today and haven't had a reply, why do they mess with things on this site when there was no problem before.
It's so irritating and annoying.

Glad that you posted this Jean, I thought I was losing my mind supposedly sending messages from myself.

I wonder why GR have done that, the wording makes no sense!

Confused me too and I nearly didn't bother to check it.

Brilliant... another change to the site.
When I first came on here , as a novice on the pooter, it was a lovely site and so easy to use.
Now that *I know what I am doing... kind of...* I am so easily lost by it.
As someone said yesterday... if it ain't broke, don't fix it.... PLEASE.

I was lucky, then, I did read the message!
I think it is done to justify their existence!

I hope this isn't going to be too widespread (not that I'm selfish!) because some time ago I was getting so much junk mail apparently from myself that I blocked my own -email address on Outlook Express - having carefully thought it through and decided that I would never send an email to myself on the same network (I have a second address I use for oddments and for testing - and hiccups with the main system)

Have read it - it wasn't from me after all :-)

I'm still getting PM's from myself as per this morning. You would have thought GR would have sorted this by now. What do we pay our subs. for, I ask myself.
