Is there anywhere in the UK where a Dna sample can be matched against a register of Dna. My wife has no idea who she is or the family she really belongs to. It is a long story. We had her brothers Dna done last year with a 40+ paternal test. There was no indication by the US testing people as to who where or what. Other than came from Africa about 2 million years ago and via Northern Europe somehow got to UK - No Help at all. |

I don't think you can be tested to find a family, but rather you need to do some research, find a possible family link, then hopefully you might find a match between your wife and another family member. |

Most of us came from Africa about 2 million years ago and via Northern Europe, so nothing unusual there. |
