Not as standard practise. If we get a load of rain they may mention how much.

Hi Whirley - chooks and goats hate the rain.

One thing I notice youse Poms always complain about rain, but you never say how much rain you get. Every weather forecast on TV or radio over here they always tell us exactly how many mils of rain every town and city got that day. I suspect this doesnt happen in England?

been very dull though humid here in Kent looked like rain all day but didnt,been very windy though . Well its the Kent County Show from today til Saturday so was expected!!
OH has made the mistake of arranging for the car to go in for its first year service and he has to get it to Maidstone tomorrow so looks like an early start to hopefully miss the crowds wanting to get into the Showground,

well we have had torrential rain for 2 days and strong winds up in north west scotland and its like winter.my poor plants outside have just been bashed and flattened, so disheartening after all the work of planting etc. will someone do a sun dance and bring on the summer please and lift our spirits. we have a big highland show on saturday and really hope the weather improves especially for the visitors and all the hard work that goes into arranging it. not sure whats instore for sat/sun guess well just have to wait and see!!
