Baroness Susanwivnumbers AKA Fagash de Lille AKA Baroness SusanGoogleferbrains

Or Lady Muck for short.

One of My lot.....Sir John Fenwicke was beheaded for treason in the first jacobite uprising. His sister married one of my great greats Captain John Shafto/e, who was shot for treason in the next uprising in 1715

The baronetcy became extinct.......but not now cos I have resurrected it.

You may now all bow and grovel :-)))))))))))))

PS.....Up the Rebels lol

Good evening 'Lady Muck' :))

I also have the odd ( very odd) rebel in my ancestry I am sure , it will be the Irish lot though....so i fear bowing and scraping to the 'aristocracy' is not in my genes ( not in my jeans either lol ...the belt digs in!)

Susan, mine had the comfort of steady poverty.
They knew where they were from one day to the next!
They certainly weren't going to join some militia or another to die for ......who?
Mine lived their lives in the tin mines of Cornwall and the fields of Suffolk in the knowledge that this was how their ancestors had lived - ploughing the fields and spawning un named babies etc.
I found it hilarious, when looking up some ancestors in Swefling , to be told by the ladies doing the flowers, that this was the 'Royalist' supporters church.
'Cromwells' church was the other side of the village!!!!

Love the attitude!

Don't talk to me about Oliver Cromwell!. Off with his head....no debate whatsoever!. I don't care who has any reasonable doubts....Orft with his head!

You can write a book with all the whats and wherefores....BUT! OFF with his head!.......sides....google doesn't know everything.......now me....I have this gut feeling that he was the worst kind of bloke nearly ever. Talk about the enemy within....Now I know I have vehemently protested that one should put reasonable arguments towards a debate....BUT....this is not a debate LOL....and I am sooooooooo right.

PS...The above statement is the Royalist in me....I have a split personality LOL....Tis all in the Genes :-)))))
