This error (HTTP 500 Internal Server Error) means that the website you are visiting had a server problem which prevented the webpage from displaying.

e mail for latest message came through with the correct sender on it.

Maybe I won't get an e mail as I have already opened the message??????

When I clicked on the subject line on the right of your name Daff, it took me straight into your message.

The e mail prompt has still not come through Lol!!!!

Ann, I do!!! But it still takes me into the contact bit for that person......

They are no longer from me :-)

all i want for xmas is me pm box to light up when i got mail.now that would be well cool.i end up replying to mail weeks later .

Daff, if you don't want to read the contact history click on the subject not the name and it will take you straight into the PM.

I don't know id my e mails have changed because Billy no mates here hasn't had a message since yesterday.

Mine are still from me :-))))))

Jumping only happens with this site, and has only occurred in the last week, so I won't change anything on the computer just for this site :-)


And some contacts have returned that I didn't want!

My notification e-mails are now telling me who pm's are from as it should... the white envelope is still a little bit dodgy... sometimes shows for a long time after I have answered all of them... and as I am getting lots at the moment, I am in and out like a yo yo...

And I have now started to get the contact history when I click on a pm... so reading them is a bit slower.... BUT... as I have a load at the moment, I am finding it very useful to have that history in front of me each time I click... so a tentative bonus.

My reply box still jumps up and down like a 5 year old on a trampoline... but not all the time.

I expect it will settle down once the tweaking has finished. *sighs* I do wish we could have a warning, though.... so many of us seem to be told that WE have the problem, at first.... it would save a lot of time and fiddling with stuff..... really it would!!

Or it would save the lives aof a few poor pc's and laptops from being chucked out the window and murdered in frustration ;¬))

When I clicked on my e-mail page this morning, it said I had two PM's. Went to the PM facility, and I had infact three.
Still no white envelope to denote I have incoming PM's, despite bringing it to GR's attention. I have to periodically through the day click on messages to see if there are any.
What a flippin' shambles this site is becoming.

I used to get the jumping and there was a box at the end of the address bar to correct it.Looked like a bolt of lightning.
One of the items in your toolbar page/safety/tools will have;
compatibility view settings
tick;display all websites in compatability view.

And still the white envelope shows for ages!

And still the site is jumping around.

Glad it isn't just me. I am on NZ site too Daff. But don't have a bouncy reply box.

And, I used to be able to click onto a message notification from GR and then come straight onto the boards - can't do that now. All my message notifications say they are from me - and when I click on one I have to sign in.

And the white envelope is doing my head in. If I send a message I get put into Sent Messages and until the recipient opens the message the little white envelope shows! What's that about?

grrrr.

Yes, the jumping and bouncing is a pain ...

I don't have the first problem (I am on the SA site I think... or is that NZ?) but the white envelope.... grrrrr! It has been playing up... I now have it, but have just answered all my pm's, As soon as I get another, it will go out. Ho Hum... and I am tired of being notified that I have sent myself a pm... but GR did respond to my query to say that they were aware and working on it.

Getting used to it ... and that it says it is from me, though isn't really :-)

Anyone else fed up with the PM system at the moment.? I used to get an e mail telling me I had a PM, I would click on it and get taken straight in to the PM. Now, if it even comes through in time I click on it and then have to log in all over again, even though I am actually on the boards at the time.
If, instead I click on the white envelope, after about five tries I might get taken to the PM board. Previously I would then click on the name of the sender and get taken to the message, now I get some rigmarole about tree connections. To go straight to the message I have to remember to click on the subject. it is nothing major but all very very aggravating. And then the white envelop stays up and I don't know if that is because it has not been cancelled or if there is a further message.
