I never watch tv ads, I turn over as soon as they come on. The last ad I saw was some gobby geordie woman shouting at her family while she was making a phone call, I have n't seen a single one since. The good thing about sky is its all repeated every few hours so if you start watching something on another channel you can catch it again later. And of course with iplayer, watch what and when you like. I don't tolerate adverts on my 'puter either, the AdBlock plus stops all that nonsense.

How about the ladies sitting around the table in a restuarant advertising

Stool Softeners, usually on Ch Five when I'm about to eat my dinner. YUK.

I worked for Unilever and remember a presentation by their adds people and the idea is you make an add that sticks it peoples mind whether its cos they cant stand it, OR they loved it. Subtle mind games mean these adds come to mind when someone is buying ,its physiological brain washing

There arnt many adverts on tele that I can stand, hving Sky + we are usually watching a recorded programme and can skip them Surprising how short the programmes are with no adverts. I do like the ongoing one for BT, want to see how they handle the wedding.
