I don't think there was any mention of it being a seedy hotel.

I enjoyed the programme although I'm not a Brucie fan either. It was quite touching. I tend to find most of these programmes are as they are someone's family and we've been there before wondering what is behind the next corner.

Despite his success and two families he died alone

I wonder if there was something we were not told - alcohol ?
He died with no money in a seedy hotel and I think Bruce kept control of what was shown !!

I enjoyed the program although I am not a Brucie fan. Best one I have seen was the Stephen Fry one.

I really enjoyed Brucie's family journey as I thought I would. What a rogue his GGrandfather was two families who he left, but for all his wealth he was a lonely man at his end and had nothing to show for his life, except of course the parks etc. but no-one remembered

I liked the end too when it was said Brucie had a headstone made for the unmarked grave.

Can't wait til next week's now

I found the end of it quite touching... kind of along the lines of... we all do wrong things in our lives, hurt people we shouldn't, but at the end, maybe the good things we have managed DO count for something and should be remembered...

or am I just getting very 'soft' LOL
