Changes for the worse

I was also annoyed by this bug. When I raised this with GR they didn't acknowledge that this bug existed but a few days later it was fixed.

However I'd like to understand the testing that GR do - this isn't the first instance of poor implementation. Why don't release some kind of beta release so that some customers can do some testing of the change?

There remain the latest changes that are still annoying: no inbox message when you're given access to a new tree; need to login every time.

There are other alternatives to GR... I think GR management team need to consider their customers much more closely.

And it's now fixed

Quick work - much appreciated

It is known as a bugette in the trade - been there many times.

It probably worked ok when it was tested but someone forgot to re-build an index, or something like that, when it was implemented to live.

I wouldn't loose any sleep over it. It will get sorted in due course.

Up until a few days ago when you clicked on a person's name in an opened message you could see all the previous correspondence between you and that person.
I found this especially useful.
Now when you do it you get all the message you've received from everyone.

Why do things get changed without being tested and shown to work?
