Has anyone else had a problem getting into their account or anything that requires their password. I keep gettin 'sorry you password does not match' when I know it is the right one.

It is only on here, and no I don't need to clean out cookies, all programmes have been run in the past two days, C Cleaner, super anti spywear, AVG etc etc.

You could click the forgotten password? Just to check your password.

Yes I will do that in a minute if I don't get a response from them. Trouble is I haven't.... forgotten it that is!!!

Also, there are problems with 'reply' button ( I can't lol) and 'Bookmarks' ( GR has kindly added a few for me...of no relevance whatsoever) ...WeirdWizard on chat mentioned it so I went to look.

Ooh my reply button and bookmarks seem ok. The annoying thing is I lost a lot of things when my old pc crashed, I have re-loaded FT 2008 but need the gedcom to load up details now. Oh well it can wait. If things are going wrong it might miss up the gedcom.

Whats a cookie?

AnninGlos

AnninGlos Report 21 Jul 2010 13:16

cookie - temporary internet files left on you pc after you have visited any internet sites such as this one. They should be cleared at regular intervals or they clog up your pc. Make it run slow.

So I have heard from them, they said I was not using an up to date version of my browser - not true, I was, I have now re-downloaded Firefox 3.6.7 which is the very latest. And I am still getting the same result. So I have gone back to them.

to be fair they did reply quite quickly so hope they do this time.

Well they have not come back to me so I have tried the forgotten password route.
