Thanks everyone, I will try the hairspray trick, it's a really cute hot pink jacket and I'd hate for it to be marked permanently!

If it is ballpoint ink Rachelle spray with hairspray until the area is soaked, rinse thoroughly under cold tap and repeat if necessary. It loosens the stain greatly and it should go altogether when put through a normal wash. It worked every time on my white tunic, good luck :))

There are specialist stain removers in the shops. I've heard that hairspray can remove ink stains but I've never tried it. Good luck.

Hi everyone,

Soory not family tree related!

Just wondering if anyone has any ideas on how to get pen ink out of clothing?

My 2 year old discovered that she could colour in not only the paper but her hands and sleeves!

Any ideas would be hugely appreciated!

Regards

Rachelle
