Hi does anyone have any idea where i can obtain the book " The life and writings of Lieutenant richard Illidge. After much research i discovered that he was my 8 x grt uncle. I know the original diary is held my the Manchester Museum. Have tried various book shops with no success. Author John Twemlow. Thanks |

Looks like you need to contact chester and cheshire archives and maybe get a photocopy. There is a link from the national archives. Looks like its not in print so you just got to keep phoning around the second hand bookshops. Have you tried the british library? They will almost certainly have a copy. |
