Bulger Killer - Poss New identity

Having just been sentenced to 2yrs for downloading child porn.

The Ministry of Justice is apparently resigned to having to provide yet another new identity to Venables when he is released again – a measure that will cost the taxpayer, according to the Daily Mail, £250,000

Don't get me started.

By the way, the term "child pornography" is an insult to the victims as it implys consent. He was convicted of downloading indecent images of children. - not quite the same thing.

I am not trying to stir it but someone I know was a victim of child abuse and she gets really upset when she reads or hears that expression.

Shouldnt have been given anonymity in the first place.

Okay, he was a child when he committed his first atrocity, but he was an adult when he was first released and given a new identity - surely he was warned to stay on the 'right' side of the law.
He was an adult when he commited this crime. He knew the consequences and should take the consequences - why should we pay?

sure I remember hearing that he failed the "ink blot test" when he was a kid but these reports were ignored when his parole review came up. He has never lead a normal life so why do they think just by letting him out he can adjust. If we can't put them on death row then we need an island. Put them on there with no bars ar wardens and let them sort each other out!

Bring back Hanging ,we need a deterrent,on the news last night a solicitor for Jamie Bolgers dad said there was sexual abuse of the poor little lad ,this wasnt disclosed at this hearing.when are those poor parents going to get justice and peace of mind.
why should we cough up more money for another identity, let him loose in prison then justice will be done.

also dont forget about maxine carr, whilst not guilty of murder or abuse she tried to cover it up. She is out continually changing her identity. Makes you shudder at the thought of who is living in ur street!

This week I read of a man who killed his wife and 3 children but didn't have the guts to stab himself like he'd done to his family. Instead he tried to commit suicide by drinking rat poison. It almost worked but didn't, his liver was so damaged that he needed an urgent liver transplant to survive. Now this really gets me mad.....read on.....so he was placed TO THE TOP OF THE LIST FOR A LIVER TRANSPLANT AND HE GOT IT! He was more important evidently than those who were desperately ill on the waiting list, many who through no fault of their own, perhaps after an accident or some other genuine reason NEEDED AN IMMEDIATE TRANSPLANT. I ask the question "why should a murderer's life be of more value than anyone else?" especially as HIS WAS SELF INFLICTED. Something very wrong here with our priorities don't you think?

Ah but Chica they needed him alive to sentence him ....plus on a serious side if the prisons had been 'seen' to let him die the bleeding hearts and human rights would have been out full force ....stinks don't it ?

As for shove 'em on an Island remember Britain is an island and we can't deport them anymore because Aus or USA wouldn't take them. So we're stuck with the scumbags of society.

As for Venables and his new identity it ..well it does, the only consolation is he has been sentenced in his new name and as a nonce, the papers have done their best to reveal his identity, prison should do the rest.
