Val, that was what it was recommended for on a site I looked at... so I thought I would try it on the courgettes, and it was brilliant. I have 6 courgette plants, and get a courgette a day from each... I take them when they are about 5 inches... they are lovely and crisp, and don't lose much of that if steamed or even baked... scrummy. |

Mine started to do that, Ann... then I sprayed them with a bit of sugar and water... very weak... and it attracted the bees and pollinators..... it would seem that is why, they are not getting pollinated, so the shrivel. |

Why do I keep reading that it is a bumper year for courgettes? I had one decent one and the rest get to about 2 inches long then shrivell and fall off. They are in a large container. This is the third year running I have tried and the third year with the same proble. I think I wont bother next year. I love them too. |
