Hi SRS. Threads like my Aussie thread. Just chit-chat about everything and nothing, silliness, support, friendship, sharing the good stuff and not so good stuff.

And 'interest' threads like the bird thread, card makers thread, scrapbook thread, writers group, readers group. They all attract people who have something in common.

There are other chat type threads too, like daff's support thread, Jeans thread (both on Gen), Bridget's diary (Chat), Depressions and anxieties (Gen), the help thread (on Tips).

People do like to pass the time of day. What they feel uncomfortable about is when for whatever reason people start to 'niggle' at each other, drag up old grievances etc.

At Christmas threads like the panto thread are fun as well. It is not all bad on here.
