i keep getting YOU HAVE LOW DISK SPACE .then when it trys to correct it theres nothing there to correct does that make sense .it says theres 0% files to be cleaned.

i hate computers.i swear i do

Do ctrl - alt - dlt and check to see what processes are running. I bet your sychost exe. is going like the clappers.

Rather than me explain the fix, google it if that's the case. Probably the most common reasson for PC's running slowly.

Joy, if you go to start menu, then computer, then properties is your hard disk getting full? If you have downloaded a lot of programmes some of them may be running in the background on start up which will slow it down.

most programmes do have a way of getting your passwords back if you havve forgotten them - it's just a nuisance having to do it

some of the washer programmes do wipe out your cookies, so make sure you do have a record of your passwords!

thanks all.this pc is about 18 months old .but ive been really bad and just left stuff to build up.ive just done a spy and a malware on it.
eddie will the washer wipe out all the stuff my google chrome remembers for me .like...my face accounts.etc.???
elizabeth ...im useless with pcs i have no understanding of them .and even when i learn something new i end up forgetting .i learn,t screen shot the other week .wrote it down aswell.now i cant remember how i did it and cant find where i wrote it down .sheeeeeeeeeeesh .i need help.xxx

Another way in is to click the Control Panel, then Performance and Maintenance - then you can first clear up your hard disc, click disc clean at the bottom, and then Rearrange your hard disc (same as defrag). I find it does keep things more under control!

Don't forget to run a "windows washer" too. If you don't have one there is a free download at eusing.com. It will clear all your old files, cookies, browsing history etc. and then defrag again.
