Oh Julie, how lovely it will be to see him, I know I would be the same if my lad went off somewhere, am so glad he changed his mind about joining the forces, as I don't think I could cope with that sort of absence.
Your lad will have so much to tell you and it's a great experience for him.

Hope your nephew gets on ok too

he arranged to go to america to work coaching children in footy, like a summer camp,
hes 19.,
he settled in quite quickly really,
and is having fab time out there,
met some lovely people,

while he was away we had to see his 18 year old cousin , our nephew off to join the army,
so its been a case of us mums who had our babys one after the other, (my ex sister in law and me) having to wait an miss um,
they are both the babys of the family, nephews brother is 21 and our daughters 23,
they ave made us feel very redundant now they all grown up, lol

im so excited, not spoken to him in 9 weeks, except on fb
