A light hearted thought about how many names are after some form af vegetation.

Rose
Rosemary
Daisy
marigold
Basil ....mmm are the men to be herbs and the females flowers.


Then you have the new names Peaches ..who no doubt a lot of people said peaches what type of name is that ..... mmm well who called you daisy my dad Basil did ?

What other plant names are there that are now used for christian names
