CAN SOMEONE HELP ME I HAVE DESCOVERED THAT THERE IS A MAN WHOS NAME KEEPS APPEARING WHEN I LOOK FOR HOTMATCHES ECT. HE HAS LOTS OF MY FAMILY IN HIS TREE I DONT KNOW WHO HE IS AND HE WONT ANSWER ANY EMAILS. I FIRST EMAILED HIM LAST WEEKEND STILL NO ANSWER. HOW DO I FIND OUT IF HE IS GENUINE OR WHAT?

I can't see any reason why he wouldn't be 'genuine' but that doesn't necessarily mean that he could be a close relative..he may be related by marriage and simple have done a lot of research.

A week is not long to answer, has he opened your message? The envelope will be open if he has ( look in your 'sent messages') . If not it could be that he is no longer on the site, or simply on holiday,busy or even ill. If he has opened it and not yet replied be patient for a while, again he may just be too busy to respond right now.

HI BOTH ME AGAIN I JUST CHECKED MY MESSAGES AND HE HAS OPENED ONE SO NOW I KNOW I WILL JUST HAVE TO WAIT AT LEAST I KNOW HE IS STILL AROUND. THANKS AGAIN

i had the same thing happen....i had found my cousin on GR so i sent him a message.I hadnt seen him since i was abt seven,i was later to learn that he had died......
