Cheeky beggar took a big slice of my cake to work with his pack up, he's diabetic, so shouldn't be eating it!
No way was it one fifteenth lol

Two more cards arrived today, will get round to thanking everyone as the week goes on

Hi Sallie, yes the 20 cards will stay up all week, they look lovely - lots of pinks and purples lol I have had a message that there are two more on the way, so have to go to my house in the next few days and pick them up.

Have tried to write to a few people already and will do more tonight or tomorrow night, am so tired and want to have an earlier night.

thanks again

Hi Liz, so glad you had a lovely birthday. Did you put all your cards up on display? I always leave my cards up for most of the week after my birthday, they are so pretty it's a shame to take them down the following day.

It was nice of your Counsellor to give you a birthday card, and it must have been nice to have a cuppa instead of the usual water.

Speak to you soon.

Love, Sallie.xx

Caz, that's where that chocolate cake will go, and me with a slinky dress to wear at the wedding lol

Counsellor suggested we have a cuppa today instead of the usual water and gave me a belated birthday card bless her, she also gave me a copy of a Paul McKenna hynotherapy cd she had, so if you don't hear from me for a while, I might have hypnotised myself and can't snap out of it lol
(only kidding, I hope)

Have some lovely flowers scenting the room, o.h. bought them this morning, he didn't get me any yesterday cos he thought my son was bringing some and I told my son not to get any cos I thought o.h. had got some, he was secretive but it was the cake not flowers he was hiding lol

Hi Liz, glad you enjoyed your birthday and got lots of cards and presents. Your chocolates are my favourite too and I still have some from my anniversary, I don't eat too many at a time as I'm afraid it goes straight on my belly.
Speak to you soon.

Caz xx

to all my lovely pals who sent birthday wishes, via internet or snail mail, and the thread Jeniwren put up (thanks love), and the pressies I received too.
You are really sweet and thoughtful and it helped make my birthday a lovely one. I spent time with my son and o.h. altho he wasn't very well as he forgot his medication for diabetes again, so as per usual I ended up driving us home from the coast where we went for a few hours on Sunday afternoon and evening.
Pizza and such from my fav takeaway as o.h. wasn't feeling up to dining out so no alcohol for me and had to drive my son home later on. I have been promised a proper meal out another evening but won't be for a while as o.h.'s shifts are incompatible with dining out unless we make it a Sunday evening.
O.h. had got me a huge chocolate cake tho (15 portion one) and iced my name on in lurid pink icing lol so I shan't be losing much weight this week, especially as he isn't supposed to eat it cos of the diabetes and my son is trying to lose some weight. He only got me one box of chocs this time lol and a lovely friend from the boards sent me some of my fav Thorntons chocs too, so will make those last or enjoy them when o.h. is on nights this week lol Mustn't put on too many pounds or I won't fit into the wedding outfit - I showed it to my son and tried it on and he thinks it's fine so I'm happy with it now.
I also got a triple cd pack of Enrique Iglesias songs, memory stick thingy, cute little windup torch/keyring, M & S voucher (might come in handy towards some control panties lol) and a mug with Norfolk dialect on, which I had seen and hinted at and which caused much merriment and nostalgia so I have been very lucky.

Time for bed now, have to see my counsellor later today so will struggle to get up in time. O.h. is on night shift from Mon night, from 6pm to 6am so will try having some earlier nights - famous last words lol
love
Lizxxx
