Requesting to view trees - NOT intended

Hi everyone
I am puzzled..........whilst searching for names on my tree I seem to be unintentionally requesting to view peoples' trees. I know that this would appear quite rude without an explaination but the messages had already sent and I hadn't realised that this was the case until I searched to see if the names were on my contacts list.........What am I doing wrong ????????

Hi Jan
Glad it's not only me
I would NEVER ask for access to someone's tree like that.
Hope many people read this and take the requests with a pinch of salt.
LET ME KNOW if I have asked to see your tree !!!!!!
Best wishes Joan
