Did anyone else see the menu board on Emerdale, I thought it was hilarious, reminds me of what us kids called things at school in the thirties and forties.

I havnt seen Emerdale for about three years or Corry and last saw Eastenders when Den was bumped off the first time.
What was on the menu boards?

lol Frederick, I do HAVE a sense of humour...it just isn't for that kind of thing...

but of course humour is a very personal thing, I won't ask you to laugh at what I find funny... some of us like slapstick, some like satire, some like schoolboy lol.

iI have just googled!
Last heard an item called that in the mid 1970s at Secondary School. I have been feeling a bit low of late and it did make me smile:)
