Why can I not just get THE SERVICE I PAY FOR?

Apparently this isn't happening to anyone else? -- for two days, 9 out of 10 times I attempt to access my inbox, I get this -- in reeally big black letters:

I've told them I have no understanding, I could not care less about my problem being logged, I am not interested in just how sorry they are, I want it fixed.

No, %$#@ you are not the only one. It is a glitch, they come and go.

I just hadn't heard about this particular one, and nobody I've mentioned it to seemed to recognize it. The false white envelope, the no white envelope, the lingering white envelope (that one is how it started ...) ... the emails telling me for a week that I had PM after PM from ... myself. But NO inbox, that seemed to be a novel twist.


On a brighter side, I'm having a visitor this weekend -- my very first guitarist, from {I am not going to tell you how many} years ago. He has spent almost all of the intervening {!!} years in the clutches of a bizarre political cult in the US. I had recently found some things about him on the net, but this is the first direct contact in all those ... years.

He's been sane and sound for a year now, and back to his music (classical guitar, in his case).

Anyhow, I just got an email from him confirming his travel schedule. He's one of those people who leaves your message in his reply, messy habit. But he'd garbled mine up somehow. One of my carefully composed sentences came out looking like this (I was talking about whether I'd be expecting any work to be dumped on me for over this long weekend):


"I already got some ragtag bits today for Tuesdayoogle."


Okay, easily amused, me, but "Tuesdayoogle" -- there has to be a need that this word fills.



Define "Tuesdayoogle" and/or use it in a sentence!

One trusts you have filled in the questionnaire advocated by Sylvia then Janey?

One fears the comment box may not be large enough for all the %$#@ you would wish to offer to the owners of this site :))

I've noticed a few people with this problem. Didn't have a problem myself but when I click on some people's names on the boards it comes up with the message you said. ie

Oh yes Lesley I have had that one.

I can't wait till next week when I can go for my Tuesdayoogle. The oogler does such a great job and I look and feel a million dollars when I leave the oogle salon - don't you? lol

SueMaid, you're two days late and I was a couple of bucks short. I oogled my own Tues the other day (as I've done since I was 16). Tuesday, in fact. About a half-inch too much of it. That half-inch that is just a half-inch too much. Oh well. Makes it poofier, and it grows faster.

No, I have the latest two tabs where I've tried to access the box in the last half-hour open, and they're both shouting at me in big black letters and smarming at me about my charming understanding nature and their abject sorriness.

I just knew somebody would do it, though. PMs. If you PM me, I will bite. But I know I do want to know what you've told me! Are telling me, will tell me ...

have you got the latest version Flash Player installed,I had trouble with a couple of sites till I up graded,,,and this site has run ok since I did,no jumping or flickers,

I got mail! I got mail! And an anticlimax that was ...

This jumping thing -- I got that a couple of weeks ago at OKCupid as I was trying to shove some stuff into my "profile" for future ref and I recognized it as what people said here -- that once you got to the bottom of the box the text just kept bouncing me up and I couldn't see what I was typing. So I know it's real!

And no, I haven't installed the latest Flash. Almost did the other day as I was rebooting my computer (something I do about every two weeks, shh), but it wanted me to shut everything down again, and I didn't want to. I should. I will. I hate Flash.

I'm never sure whether ads here affect me even though I adblock every ad and graphic I see and never see them again. I gather there's a guy in a top hat somewhere on this page. ;) I think the ads and graphics are still there, invisibly slowing down everything I do ...

I now get white paged when I try to open my mail box

Only happened today (that's Thursday still for me)
