I had an important letter the other day, with contact numbers and info i needed to keep, but my dog, in his infinate wisdom decided it tasted rather nice and chewed most of it up to a pulp.
heck i thought, best phone up for a copy..
so on the phone i got,
"could i possibly have a copy of the letter you sent me dated..... as my 10 month old dog has eaten the last one.
her reply..
"you should buy dog food for your dog then he woulnd't eat paper"
ah i thought a comdienne..so i replied..
"i would but dog food is so expensive these days..
Her reply..
" i was serious"

i put the phone down..

and now i am off to the shops to buy the morning paper for my dogs breakfast.. :)

lol lol what a strange jobsworth you had to deal with. Get the dog a broadsheet to chew on. The tabloids are a bit thin in the week.

She was seriously something!

I thought your reply was immensely clever. The sort of thing one usually thinks of too late. ;)

Perhaps she's a teacher and she'd just heard "the dog ate my homework" once too many times. ;)
