I think I have seen stuff about Mablethorpe and Sutton on Sea that tempted me to go there, maybe someone nearer the area can help you.
Do you plan to go for the day or to stay over.

Hi all,

I live in Leicestershire and I would like to take my 5 year old grand-daughter to the 'seaside'.

I believe the nearest beach is Skegness but (forgive me if I am wrong) but I believe this is much like 'Blackpool, onlu worse!! ???

I have only been there once, MANY years ago and didn't like it!!

I am sure there are some lovely beaches along that coast - can anyone recommend something suitable for a 5 year old to enjoy??
