can any one tell me does the 1911 census on genes reunited have all the people on , ive just upgraded hoping to find my gramp alfred henry cook born 1908 at swindon but cant find anything , do they have bits missing thanks ....

yea his dad was frederick cook and and mum was kate , he also had a sister vera born i think 1907 , thanks . neil

still not finding them - can you post everything you know.

When did parents marry, Kate's maiden name, where was Frederick born, where was Kate born. Frederick's occupation.

Anything at all really !

hi i know my gramp was born at swindon in 1908 his full name is alfred henry cook , his sister was vera fredreca cook born 1907 the dad was frederick cook no date of birth and the mum was kate maud cook maiden name hughes also i have no date of bith for her thats all i have .
ive been trying for ages to find them and gave up untill genes got the 1911 census but im not very good at this and its driving me mad after several years i often wonder if they were ever married , sorry thats all the info i have . neil

hi i have my gramps birth certificate and he was born at 1 groundwell road swindon on the 12th of july 1908 and his father frederick is listed as a marine engineer
my gramps sister vera frederica cook born 1909 not as i thought it was 1909 i also have her birth certificate fredericks ossupation is then listed as mechanical engineer the address is the same 1 groundwell road , but on my gramps marrage certificate in 1932 frederick is listed as deceased but occupation is listed as royal engineer deceased , im sorry i have nothing else thanks for your help neil

thats a break though thanks , my gramp said that he grow up at tetbury in gloucestershire so perhaps thats when they went , the only conection i have at tetbury is he had a cousin cesil cook also known a sam cook and he played cricket for gloucestershire and once foe england , so perhaps they went there , thanks
