Not sure if this is the right place to post but does any one know if it is possible to get copies of old wills.

My friend is trying to trace her Fathers will who died in the 1970s at a young age. Her Mother is still living but refuses to discuss it with my friend and her sister who according to their Grandmother were both named in the will.

My friend did approach the solicitors where the will was made but was told it was on microfilm. If this is correct is there any way she might have access to view or obtain a copy.
