I hope they don't stop selling the Persil non bio liquid as that is what we always use. I do notice that every so often T****s stop filling their shelves with the Persil and only have the T**** liquid non bio available.

Hi Mau at the Coast. Yes, it is M*****ns where I shop, and have noticed that my usual Surf tablets have been missing for a few weeks now. The same in T**co, hence the reason for this thread. I have shopped there now for about 4/5 years. Gave up on T***co some while ago.
Strange situation here where I live developing at the moment. In our town we have had a T**co for about 10/12 years. Nothing in the next little township, but on to the next town for M****sons where I go. Now, in between the two towns, in the township that has nothing, they are building an A*da. This is much needed for the employment in this beleagured area, and despite the interuptions to the traffic at the moment, will be very welcome. So, we will have all three in a line of about two miles, and have a S*****burys just 4 miles in the other direction.
Are they all going to give the customer what they want, or are they just going to compete with each other, for best profits.
I just wish we had a local W***rose, as, when we moved to Witney,Oxen some 30 years ago, there was one there. It opened our eyes to foodstuffs that were available, some of which, you still do not see in the shops around here. I remember some 15/20 years ago, the veggie man who stands on our once fantastic market, bring a box of Kale to sell, to try it. It did not go down at well, and he never bought any ' different ' types of veggies again.
I'll leave this thread up for Marion in Scotland.
Back to me painting, when I've finished me cuppa

By coincidence Julia we've just come home from a shop at Morrison's, only went for bread & Persil but bought many more items (like you do lol ) and searched for my preference Persil non bio....asked the manager and he said they're not selling Persil liquid at the moment as store's pushing new products instead, strange I always thought the policy was 'give the customer what they want' and keep them satisfied...........

I was told by a service engineer not to use the gel sacs as they dont fully dissolve and eventually clog up the works especially if you only use the cooler washes ie up to 40degrees
I bought some washing machine cleaner packs and do an empty washer 90degree wash every six weeks or so which keeps the machine clear of any build up so no nasty niffs arise!

I going to watch this thread.

I've used Persil powder and a softner for 35 year. I decided to change to the 2in 1, to see if they were better .Holes get bunged up with softener, and got fed up having to get wire to clear it out.
I've tried the Te**o 2in1 tabs but dont think they clean as well and clothers still hard..
I've not bought As** 'own to try them.

I'll look in later as I should not be here lol

You put them into the washing machine drum. The plastic dissolves.

Best to read the instructions as some say put towards the back of the load, but they all say to put them in after you've loaded the washing machine, on top of the dirty laundry.

These now seem to be unavailable in any of the supermarkets, and are what I am used to using. I saw an as. on the telly last night for those ' liquid gel sacs ', and realise I will have to move over to using these. Please will some one tell me what to do with them (printable answers only). I've only just got used to the demise of wash powder, and now this. What is it coming to.LOL
