Hi Everyone,
I thought you might be interested, I went into a well known garden centre here at the end of last week - July and I couldn't believe my eyes, yes Christmas is almost here, or so they think!! all the decorations were out on display and the artificial christmas trees were complete with baubles and twinkling lights! At this rate it won't be worth them taking them down in January.

O.M.G..... I can't bare it. (is that the correct Bear?) :-(
It takes all the joy out of everything doesn't it?

Perhaps there is a special reason for that early Christmas party?
Someone going away , or something ?

And woe betide anyone who wants to buy Christmas decs etc. the week before Christmas in H***base - most of them will be gone and they'll be putting the sunloungers and barbeques out!

There is a well known Dept store which has had a tree and xmas boxes round it for the last few weeks advertising......
Do you know, I was so amazed I cant for the life of me remember exactly what it was they were trying to flog.
I have a feeling it may have been store or credit card or maybe a savings club.
Even the 11 year old made a comment when we were shopping and saw it.

Last year after Christmas and before New Year, one supermarket had Easter Eggs on sale

I used to have one planted in my front garden, permanently. I would never have dreamed of trimming it up, before the Christmas period. It was taken out the garden years ago. One of my neighbours leaves his Christmas lights up around the outside of his hours all year round, and switches them on at the end of October.
LIZ 47, I saw that happen in our local M*****sons last year. Couldn't believe my eyes.
