Abit worrying I put thread up about one of our neibours going into hospice to die,then the man next door to here has got cancer and yesterday ,the niebour next door who is sick told Jan the niebour next door to her ,was on cruise with his wife and family and he has been taken ill ,and they think it could be cancer,there is only five houses on our block and we are the end house,I said to Jan its getting closer

Oh Dutch, it must be of a great worry to you when all your neighbours have been ill.
We do not really know our neighbours really well except to
pass the time of day because of how the houses are situated.
When we lived on an estate everybody knew each other well and their worries became ours.
I think the older you get the more you know people who are ill or dying.
This year alone there have been 11 people I know pass away. OH and children dont know them all and say I shoud not get get upset by it but I do.
You sound like a kind ane caring person and it is bound to make you worry.

You feel for them, and I'm sure you help where and when you can, but you are going to make yourself ill girl.

Oh Joyce, it doesn't happen like that, so please try not to get yourself all uptight and upset about what has happened to your neighbours. I'm really, really sorry to hear about them them all, but it doesn't mean that it's going to happen to either you or Jan.

I know you help and care a lot about others, and that you are feeling very sad about them all, but as Deanna has already said, count your blessings, you can't dwell on the problems of others, otherwise you are going to make yourself ill. None of your friends on here, would want that to happen. You know we depend on you to cheer us all up and to give us a laugh when we are feeling down.

When is Jan on holidays from work? I think you said it was soon, so maybe, if you're not going on holiday, you could have a few day trips to some of your favourite places.
I know it isn't easy Joyce, as you know I've been in the same position as you, so please try to look on the positive side.

Thank you ladys its the same here were asmall villiage and everyone knows everyone,Deanna it would be nice you coming here LOL its just when you no the people you tend to worry just abit ,The old chap who was on the cruise he is realy nice man and for 87 and his wife 85 they still ride there bikes to the shops ,anyway i wish you all anice weekend

I know Joyce love, but you have to conserve your energies for your own little life.
AND.... if we ever win the lottery, I will charter a plane and we can all come over to you..... we could stay at a posh hotel..... ;-0)
