I wonder if we inherit memories, feelings about certain things and interests?

Craftlady, funny how that can happen, I have a family member who is the image of their great grandad.

I don't know about a family 'quirk' but recently I came face to face with an uncanny family resemblance ~ my youngest Granddaughter was dressed up to go to her school leavers prom, as you can imagine ~ she had the whole works done on her ~ long dress, nails done and hair do, you name it etc! I was invited to take some photo's of her before she set off and what I saw blew me away ~ she looked the absolute image of her G-G Grandmother when she was the same age ~ it made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up!

Yes .well in OH maternal family . OH had crossed toes on both feet , the first toe from the big toe crosses the next toe . His mum had the same and when our daughter was born I did the usual examining her all over to see she had her dads toes. She also has my high instep so its caused her lots of problems with fitting of shoes ,she always got blistered heels with any new pair and even now once she has broken in shoes in she wears them to death .
I had an argument with a hospital pediatrician we were referred to because of her foot problems and he tried to tell me her feet were like that cos she had hammer toes from ill fitting shoes. EXCUSE ME!! we always had her feet measured and paid for good leather shoes from Clarkes.

My OH did have one foot operated on but the recovery was so painful he woudnt get the other foot done

The top of my little fingers are bent inwards as are my mothers and I think my nan had the same.
Do you have any little quirks that run in your family?
