Does anyone else ever wish that they never started doing their family tree; I started mine for my nana and it was fun at first - i've taken a few wrong roots down the way and paid an absolute fortune for website fees.

I feel like I'm hitting so many brick walls during my rebuild :-(

Please give me hope!!

Keep going, all of a sudden you will find a link or a contact and off you will go again. Sometimes it helps to stop and take a breather for a few days then go back and start on a different line to the one you were doing when you feel refreshed.

I take breaks from the tree and then something triggers off another train/branch and off I go again . I have has success with Hot Matches that have helped too,.Am at Parish records now for three sides of the family so info isnt that readily coming forward but its great when another avenue opens up
