What a coincidence - my brother has bought a derelict smithy in Somerset.
My sister and I have spent many an hour chopping down trees and re-mortaring the inside, while our brother puts a new roof on!!
Many a trip for a 'squat' in the wood up above was required!!
It's amazing how many locals suddenly decided they had to walk their dogs along a one-track road in the middle of nowhere - maybe 3 middle aged people swinging off trees, giggling and behaving like chldren passed for entertainment!!
We camp, but our brother stays in his van in the smithy.
We regularly sneak our bro onto the campsite we stay at for a shower!!!

Age DOES have it's advantages!!! Who? Us? Noooooo!!!

WENT TO SOMERSET FOR THE WEEKEND,
A FRIEND HAS BOUGHT FOUR ACRES OF
WILDERNESS,WE ALL WENT CAMPING IN EXCHANGE
TREES PLANTED
EARTH DUG OVER FOR HIM TO FORFILL A DREAM TO LIVE
OFF THE LAND AND BE SELF SUFFICIANT
IT WAS A LAUGH..NO LOO'S WATER WAS COLLECTED ABOUT A MILE AWAY AND SO QUIET

AND EXHAUSTING
