Jean I think a missing apostrophe has confused you lol
Joy means her daughter's cat - daughter's board name is Stray!

It would be great if you can get Thomas neutered. There was something on tv the other day about the huge amount of cats and kittens wanting homes, cat rescue places etc are full to overflowing and having to turn cats away.

Have you tried stroking the stray cat with a feather or something so your hand isn't close but she can feel the sensation? Maybe an old soft bathbrush to brush her back gently but it leaves you are arm's length so she doesn't feel threatened. Even an old toothbrush might do the trick, get her used to being touched and move in slowly over a matter of days or even weeks.

Last night, when we went to make our bedtime snack, we looked out of the window to see two pairs of eyes looking at us? Both Sweetie and her friend Thomas were there together , waiting for supper! He has never done that before, just hung around outside the gate. It will soon be worth calling Cats prtection to catch him, if he comes regularly, and get him neutered too. That will solve the stray kitten problem in this area!

If he comes regularly, ask Cats Protection to catch him and get him neutered. They will bring him back to the area and release him if not sociable. No charge but welcome donations. Save all that spraying and unwanted kittens in the area.

I was up at 5am this morning because i couldnt stop coughing and went into the kitchen to make an inhaling steam.
Looked out of the window and there she was, waiting to be fed. She must have seen the light. I was pouring her some milk in one side of the dish as she was drinking it out of the other, and managed to tickle her behind the ear. Still not much chance of getting her to let me shut the door though.
