Joy, there are times in life when we need to avoid temptation. To present a strong face and steel spine to the world. To walk away from all things that we know (fundamentally) are bad for us.

I am extremely good at burning things, and have been know to put something in the oven and forget to turn it on.

Dear Foggy...you are too much of a gentleman to emulate Gordon ( can't abide the man lol) . As a non-cook myself, I would advise sticking to what you know, maybe a 'signature dish' or two ? ( simple recipes can be found with a quick google) that you can make when you don't feel like taking me out for a meal...oops taking 'yourself' out for a meal ;)
