i thought it would be nice to list a few.

when i was told i have type 2 diabetes ,i got mass support/advice/and help.....theres a plus.......next

Made a few contacts on the family tree side of things.

Met some lovely peeps.

Had lots of laughs.

im purring back slowley, support network that has been built up by members , help in searching for rellies aunty and uncle stiffs sorry lol for what ever reason learnnninhg howe to spel and friendship xxxx

Have had great help and support finding members of the family tree and found lots of intresting things out from message boards and the great GR members who write on them.

No matter what question we ask on here, somebody usually knows the answer. (about anything, not just genealogy.)

Always support for any worries no matter how trivial they may be.

I have had a lot of contacts and regained contact with my cousin's son.

I have had so many laughs.

I have been encouraged with hobbies - card making, scrapbooking and writing.

I enjoy the 'company' of like minded readers and exchanging views on books we read.

Support from the board & its inmates during hard times.
Making some super friends
Finding family I had no idea existed & keeping in regular contact with one or two (or 3 )

i have recieved so much love and supoort on here,
and i have made true, friends for life!

I have made some good friends on here and made some contacts relating to family tree's.
I have also had some laughs just reading some of the threads,

Although I don't spend a lot of time on here I still look in now and then. xxxx

i have found some good leads for my family tree
met new family i didnt know existed

but best of all i have made some good and true friends
who have suported me through my darkest hours

i have also learnt that strangers can also be friends
even if your on different teams
we are not so diffrent after all

Positive things :)

First off amazing help with my tree, especially when i started out and with my first query got some info on Lightermen that made all else possible really with one side of family. Contact from cousins that filled in lots of gaps...including photo's I didn't have.

Great amounts of laughter when I needed it most,
friends that I hope to keep always, especially one who I would walk on hot coals for, and do, metaphorically if nothing else lol.

Having met some lovely people , and having the chance to know others for a short while who encouraged and inspired, and made me a slightly better person maybe, with their example of selflessness.
