Sending healing and positive thoughts to you all. Hope all went well for Ash, today.

Rita, reading your post brought tears to my eyes. It brought back memories of my dad, he also died of cancer, but in July, 1981, he was 65. Like your dad he was always thoughtful and caring towards others, and always ready to help people.
As you said, we might not have had lot of money or worldly goods, but we did have wonderful parents, who loved and cared for us.

To me that's worth all the material things in life.

Sending healing thoughts for Izzy's son Ash and all the family, Daff(who is having a blip at the moment), Yorkshire Caz, Huia and her hubby Phil, Rita, Deanna, Joyce(Dutch), Joyce's 2 Aunt's Leen and Ria(who both have cancer) Lynn (who this thread was started for) and all in need of our thoughts today.

Read Daff has not got good results from her consultant.

Letting you know I shall be thinking of you and sending healing thoughts
