Hi Rose,
This is a doctor in the Anglia region, The girl went to him EIGHT times in 6 years with women trouble. He said there's nothing wrong with you. She has since died with CANCER.

My OH is a GP and says YES he should be struck off.

Yes based on what I am reading he should never be allowed to practise... nor imo should he have been re instated after the first case...no doctor is 'medically' infallible, genuine mistakes are made...but to alter the case notes after the event shows ( to me ) total disrespect for his patients and his position.

Thankyou Rose

on reading that it went on for over 5years with no internal exam.

YES he is in malpractice, and would say that he should be 'struck off'
I can't see an age for him but considering he retired from the practice in 2005 a yr after he was suspended and is forbidden from working as a locum or undertaking any out-of-hours work or on-call duties. I would hope that was enough to make sure no practise ever employed him.

This is re the original case Uzzi, gives his age as 59.

Yes - he should be struck off, I would be surprised if any patients agreed to him treating them.

Hi Frank, This sort of thing happenns more times than it is ever reported as the doctors close ranks and protect their own.Nurses speaking out are called whisteblowers and are frightened of losing their jobs.iHave seen a lot of blatent mistakes in OT but have been told you did not see that.Imakes me sosad and mad I i had to leave my beloved Theatre. But remember, the majority of Surgeons are exellent dedicated doctors. You just struck a rogue one.Janice
