I heard this news this morning on the radio.But I've found that Probate records can only be read if we have Premium or worldwide membership, so I've not had much luck :O(

I can't believe I'm finding so many of my lot ....death dates etc all very useful on ones I'd have not wanted to fork out money for .....I'm having a hay day .....lol

Please can anyone point me towards that really useful calculator site that converts how much x amount of money then would be now ...I've discovered my G.G.Grandfather died with £3,089 17s 9d ( in 1884 ) and was thinking that sounds like a lot of money back then ! ( mind you having said that his money puts mine to shame now ......lol ) .

If there's anyone you need looking up Joy just ask :) I've found a few of mine...no money lol, but it does give some interesting details, addresses and in one case the details of daughter and son in law, which I didn't have.

new on Ancestry and I'm having a bit of luck with it :))
