Thanks Elisabeth, sorry I forgot I asked the question.

I have never seen anything like it, and captured on camera too, it is very strange indeed as to what makes someone behave like that.

Ann,

I think she was sentenced to five years for manslaughter. The judge said he couldn't give any other term as the authorities said she was now of sound mind!! The other twin had returned to America, with no charge I think.

The whole thing seemed very odd. Let us hope it was a rare or one-off case.

I felt so sorry for the police, ambulance etc. doing their best in a terrible situation.

To be honest we started to watch it and as it was just before bed we thought it was enough to give you nightmares so we switched off. What sentence did she get?

So sad for the man who was killed, but if it was a mental illness then sad for the woman as well. Is it likely to happen again when she is back out?

i did the same as you recorded it then watches it yesterday. It amazes me how the experts come up with a rare condition and a name for it. It only happens when teh twins are together. She was mentally ill when she was running on the motorway and stabbing the bloke who helped her but was completely sane when sentenced.
Still cant quite work out what it was all about. Think the driver of the coach that refused to let them back on had the right idea

Following that story was horrific! Like you, I had seen the original footage on the motorway cops programme and then saw the follow-up advertised. I recorded it and watched the whole thing yesterday.

It would have been better if the two of them had been locked up in a secure institution for a very long time. I feel so sad for the family and neighbour of the chap who tried to help the woman. He was just trying to be a good samaritan and ended up dead.

It is one of those programmes I wish I hadn't watched!
