only men aloud trained trained the boys to perform at the eisteddford this year love the programs on bbc when they do the choirs boys aloud etc better than watching repeats what do we pay the licence for

I loved it, too, Eira... and am looking forward to the repeats as well, cos I missed some of it. They are brilliant, and it is wonderful to see so many young lads singing their hearts out like that.

I believe the licence fee is under review. I don't mind paying it, really, as they don't do adverts for revenue, and the Beeb have an outstanding record with the traditional costume dramas and suchlike, and they cost money to make in the first instance... and then bring in megabucks when they are sold across the world. Which of course helps subsidise new programmes.

After all, we pay for water, electricity, food, schools, NHS, police, Armed forces etc etc etc... oh and telephone, Sky, whatever.

I think we get fairly good value for money, on the whole. But do think the Top Brass could be culled a bit.

tv is cheaper than cinema i have virgin so watched nanny mc phee with grankids would have cost a fortune otherwise
