Pollution & exhaust fumes from factory :(

Thankyou ladies. I'll do that Carol, wasnt sure if they'd think I was mad. I have three children and hate the thought of them inhaling this.

Like Ann says, sure you can complain. Where I worked on a reception, when a coach pulled up the fumes from just this one vehicle flooded into foyer and were terrible. Good luck

Try the environmental health dept of your local council. Ask their advice.

I dont want to sound like a moaning minnie, but do I have any grounds for complaint to any official body? There is an industrial unit behind my house at the end of my garden. During the day you wouldnt know its there, but after 6pm the fork lift truck starts revving up and all the general vehicle noise is quite loud, but the worst of it being the actual exhaust fumes that immediately come into the garden - and into the house if I dont shut all the windows. Night air is supposed to be pure and fresh, well ours is like sitting by the M1. My neighbour has her sleep disturbed sometimes at 2.30am with the racket, although I sleep away from the noise.
