	Poor man, all cancers are tragic but to an actor this must be one of the worst. I hope the treatment is successful for him.

	Oscar-winning actor Michael Douglas is to undergo radiation and chemotherapy after being diagnosed with a throat tumour, it has been confirmed. Michael Douglas has two children with wife Catherine Zeta-Jones A spokesman for 65-year-old Douglas said he will receive an eight-week treatment programme. Douglas is expected to make a full recovery from the treatment, according to his spokesman. "I am very optimistic," Douglas said in a statement. The star of Wall Street and Basic Instinct, Douglas is married to Welsh actress Catherine Zeta-Jones, 40. The couple has two children, Dylan, 10, and Carys, seven. Douglas also has a grown son, Cameron, from his first marriage.
