OMG sue - what we put up with!
Another film she could relay word for word was 'Robin Hood Prince of Thieves'.
Strangely, the best man at my other daughter's wedding was the young boy on Little John's shoulders!!! (Keanu Reeves being too big)
When they met - I left them quoting lines to each other - daughter knew more than he did!!! LOL
He's now an animator and designer, and, amongst other things designed Aslam's 'costume' in 'Narnia'.
Just gooled him, he's also worked on:
Avatar - Where the Wild Things Are- Prince of Persia - Your Highness- Nanny McPhee 2 - The Chronicles of Narnia - Prince Caspian- Wanted
Wish I'd know this at the wedding!!

Hi Maggie

Your daughter and mine must have a bond. My daughter Rachel was born in 1982, and knew every word of the film. She even spotted the continuity error in it. Watch Nancy's hair when she's doing her bit with Fagan et al. At one point she's got a bit of a pony tail and then - she hasn't.

Quote from daughter "this isn't a true story, mam - Nancy hasn't got her bobble in "

Yes - he was 'Oliver'!
My younger daughter could relay that film to me word for word - and she wasn't born until 1983!!
They must have seen the film at school, then 'done' it as a christmas show.

Never used to watch that, Joy - bit too 'off the wall'!!!
However, noticed it starred Jack Wild

Seems like Ron Moody remained a close friend.
