I think he is holding it squashed up Ann to stop it from drooping in the middle, as it would if held straight out with the length of it. Just a thought. I certainly wouldn't like to meet it, I've never actually seen one and I'm sure I don't want to now, ugghh.

To me, although I wouldn't like to 'meet' one, it doesn't look like a normal rat. Pity he didn't keep it for the experts to see.

When we lived in Scotland, there was a Burn at the foot of our street and the rats used to come and 'play' in the gardens.

PLEASANT little creatures... they are NOT!
Let alone the size of your cat!!
Can you imagine it??

They reckon that we are all only about 25 feet away from the nearest rat!!
