I just put the phone straight down when I get one of these calls.There is always a second or 2 before someone speaks. I haven't had a call for at least a week lol

Yes Jude, remember they were at it a while ago?
They phoned me a couple of times and told me they were debt collectors and that I had some outstanding debts!!
I said, "indeed I do not".... and he told me that I DID..... I also hung up.
BUT......
Imagine the fear I, (or anyone ) would feel if they did have some debts?
Pigs, they must think we are all so RICH....

I am, but not in any material sense.

About an hour ago hubby answered the phone to an Indian speaking man, who told him we had between £600 - 700 pounds due to us because our bank had over charged us over a period of 6 years....yeh right.
l did a 1471 and heard someone dialing a number..yep it was him, so l gave him a piece of my mind, and told him what aload of rubbish he was telling people....he then said, so you want to lose all that money, l said yes because it was a scam and l put the phone down.
He was trying to get my husbands date of birth etc.........

PLEASE PASS THIS ON...don't give them any info.

l rang the bank and explained, she said its happening all the time now and that it was'nt worth telling the police!!
